Godofredo is known as "GODO" to PMAers, "FRED" to busines associates, "FREDDIE" to close relatives. He hails from Las Piñas, Metro Manila, and is now a resident of Pasig City. He is very happily married to the former Joy Lagasca Cruz and blessed with 2 sons, Jonas Gildo (13) and John Gabriel(11).

Fred is presently serving Informatics Computer Institute Philippines as Director of Operations. Informatics is an IT training and education company with head office in Singapore and existing in 25 countries. Earlier, Fred was the Technical Division Manager of Foster Parents PLAN Baguio, an international NGO. He was President and General Manager of 3:16 Computers before joining PLAN. He also was a part-time business/management consultant to a few private companies in Manila and Baguio City.

Fred used to lecture Business and Management for 2 years at the University of the Philippines Baguio (as Senior Lecturer) and the Baguio Colleges Foundation (as Associate Professor) graduate schools while serving as instructor at the Philippine Military Academy for 4 years. He taught Military Tactics, Public Administration, Military Ethics, English, Public Speaking, and Speech as Associate Professor in the Corps of Professors.

In his earlier years, Fred was with the Philippine Navy where he finished his junior billet aboard 2 patrol crafts and an LST deployed in Mindanao.

He holds a BS degree (PMA '82) and 2 business degrees from the Asian Institute of Management (MBM '89) and at the University of Baguio (MBA'87). He is now taking-up his PhD at the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City.

Fred gave up his commissionship in 1991 as Captain (Corps of Prof., LTSG in the Philippine Navy) after 9 years of service in the Philippine Armed Forces (13 years including cadetship) to pursue what he now appreciates as a very challenging but more fulfilling career in the private sector.

He still continues to enjoy fellowshipping with his "mistahs" (PMA linguo for classmates) and intends to maintain simple living where family is top priority second to God.

"…But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord." (Joshua 24:15b)
